Randall Bradford, EVP human resources, Merck KGaA 
Randall J. Bradford is an experienced professional in global human resource management. Randall has more than 25 years of experience in global companies. He began his professional HR career at MSD, where he spent 19 years in roles of increasing responsibility, beginning in the U.S. supporting R&D, followed by 5 years in the Nordics, 4 years in the Middle East & Africa, 4 years in France and 3 years in EMEA + Canada (based in Germany). Randall then joined Medtronic (world's largest medical technology company), leading the International HR Region (all markets outside the U.S.). In June 2014, Randall joined Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany to lead the HR function in Merck Serono (i.e., the pharmaceutical division). As of December 2014, he assumed responsibility for the HR Function for the entire Healthcare Division (i.e., Merck BioPharma, Consumer Health, Biosimilars and AllergoPharma). He has lived and worked in Germany, Austria, Norway, France, Singapore and Switzerland and has spent significant time working in Hong Kong, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Turkey, Africa (North, South, and Sub-Saharan) Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, Lebanon, Dubai, Japan, China, India, Australia, Latin America. Randall currently resides in Frankfurt, Germany. Speaking, reading and writing skills: English – native; German – fluent; Norwegian – fluent; French – fluent. 

Beatriz Faro, regional president international developed markets, Internal Medicine 

Beatriz is the regional president for Internal Medicines (IM) in the international developed markets. Member of the IM Global Leadership team and a member of Pfizer’s senior leadership council. 

In this role, she manages a multibillion portfolio and provides oversight to country managers in 57 markets across Europe and Developed Asia. Beatriz joined Pfizer in 2003 as oncology product manager and has since taken on numerous commercial leadership roles across various therapeutic areas and geographies including oncology cluster lead (Spain, Belux, Ireland, and Portugal) and president and general manager, Spain. 

Throughout her career, she has been a pioneer for change, leading teams through several major restructurings, demonstrating her strong leadership and understanding of where the company is going.  

Today, she serves as the president of the Spanish diversity committee of the American chamber of commerce in Spain and is also on the boards of the American Business Council, Círculo de Empresarios Business Association, and Pfizer Foundation Spain. Previously, she was a board member of Farmaindustria. She also received a Luminary Award from the Healthcare Business Association in May 2019, recognizing her clear commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Beatriz is an incredibly ardent supporter of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and work/life balance, actively voicing her opinions externally through public forums and speeches and internally at Pfizer as the Executive Sponsor of the European Diversity Committee. 

Spanish by birth, Beatriz has a pharmacy degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid where she specialized in biochemistry. She lives in Madrid with her husband and three girls, ages 10 and 8 (twins).

Stefanie Nickel, global head diversity and inclusion, Sandoz

Stefanie Nickel is heading D&I at Sandoz as of December 2018. A physician by training and passionate about organizational strategy and culture, she drives D&I with a focus on data and evidence-based practices. Sandoz 2019 priorities focus on gender equity, embracing all abilities, making inclusion a priority and leading change inclusively as well as making flexible working the norm as an important enabler. Prior to her role in D&I Stefanie has led several biosimilar projects commercially in Sandoz’ biopharma unit and worked for eight years in Amgen’s country organization in Germany in various marketing and sales roles as well as a strategy consultant for Bain & Company. Privately, Stefanie is the proud mother of two and her husband Thomas works in the intersection of internal medicine and acupuncture/TCM in his own practice.

Maja Plaki, global medical affairs head, Roche 
Entrepreneurial healthcare professional with more than 25 years of multi-disciplinary experience including 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry. From 1988 until 2010 freelance activities in advertising, arts and media, outpatient healthcare and medical consultancy for Pharma (own agency with 5 employees). Founding member and member of the Board of Directors of the non-profit association in Support of the Critically Ill in Munich, Germany, which purchased a house and established a hospice and support center for homeless and moribund patients with HIV/AIDS and cancer. 

Experienced line manager with a passion for developing people and transformational leadership.

Sabine Hutchison, CEO Seuss Consulting 
Sabine Hutchison, CEO and co-founder of a Collective which houses the five unique businesses. Sabine is a trained chemist and industry expert turned entrepreneur. After graduating with her Chemistry degree in the U.S., Sabine decided to move overseas and further her career. 

Sabine had been working in the life sciences industry for years before she decided to step up her game and build up her own companies from scratch. On top of that, she volunteers on the board as the deputy chair of the HBA Europe and has been deeply involved with the annual EU Leadership Summits - as organizer and speaker.
