HBA events and sponsorships committees are responsible for the successful development and execution of chapter networking, educational and volunteer events within their geography.
Content committee
Develops appropriate, desirable, cutting-edge program content for chapter educational events in line with HBA competencies and guidelines. Prepares event speaker(s) to ensure program’s alignment with event learning objectives.
Time commitment: approximately 4-6 hours per month

Event logistics committee
Manages pre-event and onsite logistics for all chapter networking, educational and volunteer events including monitoring event registration, materials preparation, onsite staffing, reconciliation items and any other items deemed necessary from sponsor/venue.
Time commitment: approximately 3-5 hours per month
Venue/sponsorship liaison committee
Liaises with event venue and/or sponsor company to plan event internally, capture pertinent event details and ensure alignment and satisfaction with the HBA.
