The HBA’s silver anniversary WOTY event was held May 1, 2014 to celebrate the achievements of remarkable leaders in healthcare from across the industry. The HBA honored Shideh Sedgh Bina, founding partner of Insigniam and editor in chief of Insigniam Quarterly; Annalisa Jenkins, MBBS, MRCP, executive vice president and head of global research and development for Merck Serono; and Patricia A. Maryland, DrPH, president of healthcare operations and chief operating officer of Ascension Health as Women of the Year in 2014 to celebrate the silver anniversary of this honor. #WOTY25

The refashioned WOTY event lauded our Honorable Mentor Brian Goff, head of global hemophilia organization at Baxter International Inc, our 2014 HBA STAR Ilyssa Levins, president of the Center for Communication Compliance and founder and co-chair of the DIA-HBA Leadership Project, the 2014 Rising Stars and 25 HBA Luminaries.

Alex Gorsky Alex Gorsky, Johnson & Johnson chairman and chief executive officer, and 2009 HBA Honorable Mentor, will moderated a panel discussion with the HBA’s three 2014 Women of the Year at the Woman of the Year event.
